This is suitable for the budget conscious visitor or for working holiday visitors. You will be provided with a secure room containing 2 to 3 beds, all bedding materials and adequate storage space. Each house is fully furnished with a self catering kitchen. Your flatmates will come from all over the world from students to fellow travellers so patience and tolerance is the keyword.

This facility is ideal for the backpacker who could use it as a base while travelling around New Zealand. For group travel, rooms are also available with 3 beds or more beds. The base price is NZ$95 a week per person (4 weeks tenancy) or $110 for short term.

A reduced rental of NZ$85 a week applies for those intending to stay for 12 weeks. For a student who is travelling with a friend, this concept would make the ideal accommodation option as long as they are able to get on together.
